SOMEWHERE, Sofia Coppola: The car as a social mask

Hanja Maksim analyses in a recent post SOMEWHERE, the film of Sofia Coppola (2010) with the glasses of a space sociologist: Very interesting and to be recommanded!

I add: The ending of this movie is a metapher of his new life. Leaving the meaningless Ferrari in the middle of nowhere to be fresh for the really important new start with his daughter. Well: is it always so simple? We must have first a Ferrari to fo so?
